online safety guides
At Kirkistown Primary School we believe in empowering parents, carers and trusted adults with the information they need to hold informed and age-appropriate conversations about online safety with their child, should they feel it is needed. Every Wednesday, National Online Safety produce guides to focus on specific platforms/risks which they believe trusted adults should be aware of. We have uploaded selected guides for parents based upon what our children tell us they are aware of or have access to at home.
From concerns about Bullying to Facebook, Fortnite to WhatsApp- we've sorted all the guides alphabetically for you below to make them easier to find. Further guides are available online: https://nationalonlinesafety.com/resources/wake-up-wednesday/
